That just blows chunks. I hate theives.  :villagers:
I hope the video shows some thing. If you keep using the place, get a video system of your own (they sure are cheap enough these days). Just knowing that you have cameras will keep the theives away. Sounds like they knew what they wanted and knew they could get away.

*1979 Les Paul Standard Kalamazoo Edition Tabacco Sunburst - cannot find the serial # but it is identifiable by severe buckle rash on the back, pick guards and gold plate in front of bridge were removed (screw holes exposed), and the original pickups were replaced with '57 classics.
*The Clydesdale road case has TBM-K on the top in silver.
*Orange Rockerverb 100 - serial# RV100H-A-6025-11-05
*Ibanez Analog Delay (purple pedal) modified by Robert Keeley - no serial, but very uncommon
*Radial Tonebone headswitcher - no serial #, again very uncommon

As for the other stuff we are still compiling the list and #'s

Cop said that we need to be proactive because they generally move on quickly : meaning we have to solve it on our own.
I'm not working today, so I will be doing some follow ups.

12 years of touring and not a thing happened to my gear, the second I stop touring, drop out of the Musicians Guild, and cancel my insurance...boom. The other band that shares the space also had their van and trailer stolen early this year.

Thanks for your concerns.
Kyle.

WOW that is a sad situation.  My gut tells me you will find out who is responsible and hopefully get your stuff back.  Surprising that the bastards were so picky about what they wanted  . . . could be their downfall.  Making music can be expensive and I know the value of a good guitar and I play as much as I possibly can.

sorry to read this....  :swear:   if you use any instrument long enough, they become an extention of your body and soul.  Sure a guitar can be replaced but it`s never the same...   I sure hope you will find your stuff and hide the thief in a big w-bin for a while...

Since you know pretty well what got stolen, keep an eye out on craigslist and Ebay or local music stores/pawn shops to see if anything shows up.  You can even print up a list and hand it out locally to music stores that sell second hand/pawnshops.  :2cents:
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I made some calls yesterday and the cops have done nothing. The servailence tapes have not been aquired or reviewed. The overseeing officer is off until Friday and they will not contact him, or give me any additional info on the case. We, the bands have been very proactive in the cops failing interest.

So far we have sent our gear list to every music shop in the GTA and are working on the pawn shops, and practically evrery musician in Ontario knows of the robbery.
National radio/tv hosts Alan Cross, George Strombolopolous and Gunnar Hanson have been helping us on their websites and radio shows. We have done a few interviews on college radio, but for some reason local news will not pick up the story...yet.
Facebook and twitter have been done as well, and from what I hear, went close to viral.
Also, we have a few "insiders" on two of the suspects.
They picked the wrong dudes to mess with.

On Thursday the bozo tried to sell some of the gear at a Toronto vintage guitar shop - my buddy was working and when the dude new he was burned he left. Luckily he got the plate # and car description. Unfortunately, the cops flunked majorly and did nothing because of inter city bureaucracy, and he got away. We finally got the plates traced and we know their address, BUT they will not make an arrest until Monday because they cannot work overtime!!!!!! The lead officer said if it was Thursday it would be no probs, but they avoided all info that was given on Thursady so now we need to wait 3 days! :swear:
We now have a stakeout going on (no cops, just us) in case the gear is moved over the next days. This Sucks, i'm so frustrated with the incompitence - we have done all the investigating and the boys in blue are sitting on their hands. Only the lead officer has been helpful, but his hands are tied.

Glad you found one of the perps. Sounds like the police weren't much help. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Be careful. Don't get hurt over things. I once had a tennant that totally bagged me on rent and damage (extreme damage) and had to do the detective work myself. It took me 9 months to find the dirt bag, but I did and got my day in court! I too hate a thief!  :swear: :stomp: I hope and pray you get everything back and have your day in court!! May justice be served.

I play around with guitar too and have had several friends lose gear to thieves.  In almost every case they found sound of their gear at pawn shops, on guy found his 1 of 6 George Lynch model Peavy (or Jackson, can't remember) for sale on Ebay from a local seller.  He arranged a meet with the seller, identified it as his, but couldn't get it back because he didn't have a copy of the serial number.  It was a custom shop model and he knew it was his but couldn't prove it.  Check all the local pawn shops & music stores that take in used gear and I'll bet you find most of your stuff.  Here in Georgia they are supposed to get the identity of the seller when they take in this kind of stuff.  Good luck.

At least you have a few things going your way.  You know who one of the guys was, you have a good idea where the stuff is and they obviously aren't the brightest light bulbs in the room.....
