Just bought a 4 speed from Brewers they have been great. They get back within a couple of hours when ever you have a question. I needed help hooking up the hurst shifter and Wayne sent me these pics.

Cool...those pics may help me out in a couple weeks.  I just got a 4 spd from Brewers also.  Have you installed yours yet?  Are you replacing a 727 on a 440 by chance?  If so, and if you have a cast crank I'm interested to know what the pilot bushing area of the end of the crank looks like.

The original transmission was a auto but i replaced the crank with an Eagle. You may have to cut your input shaft to fit your crank make sure you check the depth on the crank. make sure you have the right PILOT BUSHING

Yeah, thats why I was curious to know what your crank looked like if you had a 440 cast crank.  Brewers built my trans. with a shorter input shaft and I have the conversion pilot bushing that fits in the auto register of the crank (where the torque converter fits with an auto) so hopefully I'm good to go but wont know what Im dealing with as far as the end of the crank goes till I pull my 727 in a couple weeks.
