No drill hood pins...
« on: March 07, 2011 - 10:09:05 PM »
I was looking at the Classic Industries website and saw these no drill hood pins.  I didn't know whether to say "neato" or laugh.  They're $50, so I guess I'll cry.

Does this qualify as "rice"?  It'll look kinda weird when your hood is up.  :roflsmiley:

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Chrysler used them (not quite the same as pictured, from memory) on some F bodies.

Here is where I got mine. Everyone that has seen them couldn't believe they were not real. I love them. There was NO way I was drilling 10 holes in the hood of the R/T!

OK, you sold me.  They actually look very good!  :grinyes:  I actually have a second hood that has been drilled for hood pins and these actually may fit the bill.

I don't think I've seen a close up of your car, looks real good!  I'm digging the R/T black out and the rims because they have some lip on them!

This is much better than what I was thinking when I saw the title of this thread!I was picturing seeing a hood that was slammed shut until the hood pins popped through to the other side! :scared:

Where do the lanyards hook to.... Do they let you open your hood?   :poopoke:
