Heater blower motor

what color is the heater blower motor on a 72 cuda. built date june 1972. Can i install the heater blower motor after the heater box has already been installd in the car.this is a a/c car. thank's.

It can be black or zinc, I'm not sure there's a pattern. What was your original? The box has to be removed to install the motor.

A/C blower motors install from the firewall-engine side and can be replaced without removing the box.

Does anyone repop these or rebuild em, My heater works but you can hear the whine on the bearings starting to go out when i flipped it on and flow was not the greatest. 1970 Grancoupe. Or better yt has any one photo catelogged on this site a proper do it your self rebuild.

Never mind a simple site search pulled up tons of threads with lots of links about rebuilding boxes.
