Since I've been looking into Powder coating systems lately I figure I might as well enter.
I would probably end up using it on assorted suspension parts, and anything else I can think of. I already have an oven in my garage for baking headers and I just picked up a compressor last month to do some sand blasting/painting/grinding etc. Once the Cuda was done I might even set up a small home business and do a little powder coating, sand blasting and painting for other car guys in the area that can't afford to have a big company do the work for them.

Of course. I plan on keeping before and after pics of everything in case I do end up making it into a business.

Do you have an oven large enough for those suspension parts?

I actually have three different projects I could use the powder coating system on.  First and foremost is my 1970 Matching numbers "U" code 440 'Cuda with 4-speed,  dana 60 rear end and shaker hood.  I'm doing a rotisserie, nut and bolt restoration and returning the car to "stock" condition.  I would use the powder coating system to paint misc parts, including suspension and engine parts, and nuts and bolts to provide them a more durable finish than just paint.  I also have a 2007 Corvette that I would like to powder coat the disc brake calibers to match the Monterey Red paint of the car.  Lastly, I would also like to powder coat the front disc brake on my 2000 Harley Davidson Softail.  With the custom front wheel and rotor, the  stock brake caliber detracts from the overall look of the bike.

1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

We would like to enter too.  My husband has a 1972 1/2 ton Dodge Truck he bought new in 1972 when he got back from Viet Nam. He is restoring her this year.   He would love to use the powder coating on the front suspension and some of the other parts on his truck. We would make sure to take good pictures as we go. An oven would not be a problem either.  We buy a lot of Eastwood products.  We get their catalog every month.  I will try to post a picture of our Truck.  Thanks for the chance to win a great product.

OK.like some others I have too many projects and some things on the `cuda I would like to re-do.
First on the `cuda I would pull the front susupension components and strip them of the paint which after ten plus years is pretty ugly.I could powder coat them either black or a more natural looking cast color and they would look great for a long time I`m sure even with the abuse I`d put `em thru.

Next would be the Duster which would get some custom powder coated valve covers and air cleaner/air pan to replace the cheap, crappy looking ones on it now.I`ll buy some nice aluminum valve covers and take then into work for some custom engraving(I work in a sheet metal/machine shop with a car guy for a boss)
of a Mopar logo or maybe "Direct Connection" for the old school look and then powder coat the engraved area in Petty blue to make it stand out.

After much thought and getting an old oven lined up I am ready to enter  :woo:

I would like to powder coat my intake on my 6.1 :hyper:

I would start a separate thread  documenting the entire coating process.  :wow:

Thanks for your consideration  :bigshades:
