I would have loved to have the this to powder coat a lot of the parts off the Challenger.  But I would really love to have it when we start restoring my daughter's Super Coupe. Shelby is a member of CC.com. The Super Coupe was left to Shelby when her god-father passed away. It was the 1st car he ever owned. Only 531 Dodge Aspen Super Coupes were made in 1978. A powder coater would be a great addition to making this car beautiful again.

DoNotChallengeHer....do you have a way to bake the parts?  And when do you plan to start?

Yes, I have an oven to bake parts in. We plan on starting as soon as my Challenger is out of the shop. Which should be late spring, early summer.

I'm getting the parts together for my 70 that's been sitting.  Have lots of parts in the basement prepped but not finished(wiper parts, latches, underhood parts, brakes, etc)  Would love to powdercoat the stuff for durability.  I have a small toaster oven and have an electric radiant heater for larger parts.  I'd grab an Electric oven for the mid sized stuff, since I'm an Electrician hook up is easy in the garage. I plan on starting a restoration thread similar to this one-- http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=35990.0 when the time comes.

Thanks to Eastwood and CC.com for the opportunity.

Tom

Here's a pic of my parts room.lol

Apart from the usual parts that could be done suspension wise etc, I am particularly interested in doing my rallye rims in sliver for a high quality durable finish for my RT Challenger, here is a picture of what they look like right now, cheers. And thanks for the opportunity, plus yes I have an oven that will fit such as large item here. Onya cobbers!

Ok, I'll give this a shot...   :bigshades:

I have multiple projects that I could use this on so here goes:
First, for my eBody, I would plan on doing suspension components and my steel wheels that i just aquired in Black.

Next, for my 68 D100 pickup, I would do any metal pieces small enough to fit in the oven.... basically things like battery tray, seat track parts, ebrake handle, master cylinders and such. Steel wheels too.

After that comes the 69 Dart which is most likely years out, but that will also get steel wheels and all suspension coated as well.

Not to mention i assist on family restos so this would go to use many times!

I have an old 50's oven since we just got a new gas stove so that would work until i was able to get something larger. The downside would be that i can't get started right away since we are working around the house in hopes to prep it for sale so i am not sure what the company would like as far as a time frame for work to begin......

The only thing i could offer in addition is that i am a member of many forums of a wide range so i could certainly spread the feedback on this product across many boards with Build threads for each project.

Thank you Wally.

I expect we'll have 25 or so entries......so guys, you'll have a 1 in 25 chance of winning.  Not very often you get odds like that in a contest.  And if this works well I certainly will do this again and again........

You may have to invest in an infrared heater for the diff.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Well I used to have an Eastwood powder gun. Loaned it to a friend and he fell in love with it. And kept it. As much as I would love to get another gun
I am a long way off in my project to win a poiwder coat gun just to have it sit for a long while. But I am grateful that CC.Com and Eastwood have teamed up with the giveaway .  :2thumbs:
