yup.... same here doing tech inspecting for circle track cars!
Yeah circle track guys are not usually all that concerned with looks or appropriate technique, "ger er done" seems to be the motto with that group. Not hating on them, they do what they do and enjoy it. I have looked at some 70's era NASCAR vehicles and have been amazed at how crude a alot of them are/were. Inspected a former 71 K&K charger and another charger from the same era and was shocked to see the UCA mounts chopped off right about the pivot point and the shock mounts welded to the down tube coming from the firewall to the front of the frame.
