Heater Cable Connection
« on: March 10, 2011 - 08:09:20 AM »
I am installing the cables to my heater control on my '70 and need to make sure I am getting them hooked to the right place.  There are 2 cables.  One goes to the far end of the heater core and operates a door.  The second one is shorter and appears to attach more towards the middle of the heater core.  Is the far one for controlling the heat temperature or to switch from DEF to HEAT?

The short one opens and closes the door for the HEAT - DEF. The long one opens and closes the door for the temperature.
