Many of you have followed some of the resto progress on my 71 Challenger.  It needs pretty much everything.  As I start to wrap up a lot of the body work, I'm getting prepared to drag my 73 Cuda into the garage as well.

The 71 and the 73 were purchased down south at Billy West's place in Selma, NC.  The Challenger had a title.  The Cuda didn't.

Does anyone know how I could get a title for the car?  I have the car, a bill of sale, matching vin and fender tags.  There were no broadcast sheets in the car.

I know there are services that deal with situations like this.  Does anyone have experience with any of them that they would recommend?  Any advice I should have before jumping into this project?

Thanks!   :drunk:

Jon

The laws vary from State to State. See if you can find any info from yours department of motor vehicles on the Internet. In some States you would be good to go with a bill of sale.

:iagree:  I just had to go to the DMV with a bill of sale, sign a document and 2 hours later had a title in hand.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Any thoughts on whether it would make a difference if I brought the car in from out of state (NC to PA)?

Thanks again.  I'll check with the DMV.

I brought mine in to Michigan from Massachusetts. Had more problems crossing thru Canada than getting the title.  :clueless:
