Thanks for the info!  :grinyes:

If I had attempted something like this basically I would have gotten vinyl from Joanne Fabrics and a bottle of 3M spray adhesive and end up with something a kid in 7th grade wood shop could have made...  :bricks1:

Again, looks great!  :grinyes:

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

I would have not used foam, the stitching would have looked like fishing line pulled from a creek and would have ruined the whole project.
I heard this guy was good and he only lives about 2 miles from my house so looks like he's my new best friend....ha,ha.

I took it to a small cruise in with some friends last night and nobody believed I made the console myself.

I told them they would have believed it if they saw it in wood form, but the covering is what really makes it.

I gotta quit telling people I made it because I got two more orders last night for chebbie consoles. :eek4:

Ha!  I love the pic with all the guys looking at your car!  Must sound like rolling thunder!!!

I like the home made ram air set up.  Wish the fuses in my Honda were that easy to access!

Yeah the stipes were hacked up to make fit, and hacked up was right  as the stripe dude could have taken his time and did a better job by the front door/fender areas, but they turned out okay.

Yeah, I had open headers at that times as it was my first real maiden voyage on the street and I was dropping off one of my kids at church.
I did not know they were having a picnic outside and the resident photographer had his camera handy and snatched this pic as I rolled up....classic "caption this" shot.
