If I read the FSM I get that the distance between the center of the R and L front holes in the frame for
the K-frame is 33.92", is that a correct reading?

I'm just guessing here ...but are they center lines of holes ( pick up points) in the frame?

33.92" fits when I meassure on my car. The drawing shows the framerails going stright to the crossmember but that's not the case, that's why I got confused about the 37.50".
