    I may be a canadian

    I was tracing My grandfathers side of my family tree and found out I could trace his side all the way to 1780's back into canada. Moms side was Tennessee and Kentucky.  What a combo.  Too bad I have the hastles of crossing the border into Canada all the time. Makes me want to just stay out. But At lest I can search more when I get accross the border again. Strange how people moved around back then. My dads side ended up with us all living in Michigan...Detroit, Pontiac, and all across Mi.  I thought it was interesting tho  ummm   AYE? :roflsmiley:

    Al,  Great to know your roots.  Sometimes they are very hard to track.

    My records disappear some where in the Appalacians. 

    Irish, Scotish, Cherokee.  Kentucky, to Tennessee, to Alabama, then finally me in Louisiana.


    Keep looking Al, you might find a long lost millionaire cousin.   :2thumbs:

    Looks like Cuda Hunter and I came along the basic same path through Appalcian roots, Scott - Irish , but my native American line comes from the Blackfoot Tribe. But I claim me ole Scottish Granpa as the one who set me on the course of life, I dare say I think of him still everyday.

    I'm Irish, Scottish, English, and German. What a mutt huh! :smilielol: 4th generation Canadian. Gotta admit though I'm  50% American at heart though. Thanks to my Grandfather I learned to cuss in German before english? :roflsmiley:

    I was born and raised in Michigan. So I am familiar with snow.   :cheers:  Im french Irish Dutch and Indian myself. 100% american  But hines 57 for sure.


    I could be in Canada next month

    I got a return to work release a couple of hrs ago
