I don't understand why he would do this.

He lives, eats, and drinks T/A's. What better place is there than here to keep a radar on un found units out there waiting to be discovered than here?

Let alone the fact he just spent over 6-7 years with friends here just to throw it all away in one fell swoop.

I think there may be other reasons that are underlying that we can only guess upon.
Only Barry has the answer. I just hope he re-considers his decision and decides he would like to be back.

If he did, I hope the mods can restore his post count.

Without knowing T/A, or anyone else who knows him, from his posts I bet he is the kind of guy who sees everything as black or white.

You assessment is vague but close to the truth!  He (and other self ordained individuals) give members of the hobby a difficult time if they do not follow their (unsubstantiated) set of phantom rules.  These "watchdogs" have absolutely no formal authority to deem what is (or should be) protocol for the hobby!  Most of the serious hobbyists already posses the knowledge needed to guide them along their path.  For whatever reason, some still find it necessary to hand over their "rights" to these guys which allows them to push THEIR personal views as hard core "black or white" law!     

  And you personally know Barry or anything about him ?  Well, I do. Integrity is just one great thing about Barry. Plus he is one of the kindest people I know. This thread has nothing to do with what your saying.

I have never met Barry but I have always had good dealings with him, he has gone out of his way to help me when questions have been asked on this forum and emailed to him. He does a service to all MOPAR people through his web site which he does for the love of our hobby, especially E Bodies.   
Nobody is perfect so we all must look past what we don't like in another member if we are looking for faults in others and concentrate sharing our knowledge and experiences. I am one who has gained much help and info from this board due to the fact that I live in Australia and we didn't get very many MOPAR Muscle cars down here. It is true that we have lost several members over the few years that I have been on this board and I don't know why they left but can only wish them well and hope that they do come back.   
We all push our personal views one way or the other and as individuals we have that right so long as we are mindful of others views.
