One of the many in Texas!
« on: March 13, 2011 - 06:11:40 PM »
Just another newbe in Texas. Presently proud owner/driver of a 2010 Challenger PCP R/T-C 6-speed. Started in Barracuda tho as I had a 67 fastback with a slanty 6 in '73 at the end of the era! Traded an 04 Rumble Bee, for the first 09 Challenger sold in DFW Texas a BB SE. Made a heck of a trade up this summer to the Purple Hemi 6-speed, my dream since teens. Have not stopped SMILING since August 08, these are truly MAGIC cars!

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Thanks y'all been lurking a while, lots of good info here! Have several friends with 1st gen Challengers, and NONE call em Chally, LOL! Here's a couple pics of my 09 SE, and my keeper 10R/T. Traded a 04 Rumble Bee for the SE. My scootertramp nickname is Sicki ( long story that), so named the SE Sick'r Bee and made four changes to the Super Bee logo, and made my own bee stripes. Also had the Heritage wheels chrome plated, and keep them when I traded the car HATE polished aluminum, LOVE chrome looks much more sinister after dark! I tell the polished aluminum kids we had a sayin,"chrome won't get ya home, but it'll get ya laid" hahaha never heard that of polished or anodized! Anyway thanks for da welcome, here's some pics, Mark

One of the four changes to logo was three pipes for V6 so added back fourth on R/T

And finally the rear, been doing this rename since 08, but started masking center in vinyl year or two back, when I have the center light out to add go-wing think I'm gonna paint it.
