Anyone used a Superior dash pad yet?
« on: March 14, 2011 - 06:50:17 PM »
I noticed them at Carlisle last year. Just wondering if anyone had installed one yet? Wondering about the fit and finish? Also wondering if they are producing there own product or reselling a Just Dashes or Ultimate rides dash? :dunno:

 They are also on E-Bay

Here is what they wrote up for the listing ( contact # etc...?) They are out of Payne, OH

This pad fits 1970 Dodge Challenger E-Body.  We carry a wide variety of dash pads in our inventory.  Our process uses the original steel core,(THEREFORE THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CORE CHARGE OF $195.00 TO THE WINNING BID-CORE CHARGE WILL BE REFUNDED UPON RECEIPT OF REPLACEMENT CORE, MUST BE SUBMITTED WITHIN 30 DAYS. ), (we will purchase additional cores for $65.00).  All of our pricing is based on a black finish, A/C or non-A/C, one speaker or three speakers.  We offer any color for an additional $65.00.  Proudly made in the USA. We can be reached at Superior Dashpads (419) 263-2376 for any additional information.

Due to the way our dash pads are produced, it is most like the original in that it uses the original steel core that has been stripped down to the bare metal with new padding and vinyl material added, as a result the fit and finish of our pad is second to none.

Our dash pad speaks for itself, but for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return it within 30 days for a full refund (excluding shipping costs) or a replacement.  In addition, we offer a limited two year warranty to the original buyer.

Most orders generally ship within two to four weeks.(depending on inventory).  Shipping cost averages between $45.00 - $70.00 within the Continental USA. Our pads are insured, but it is important that you inspect it upon arrival for damage due to shipping.

They seem to enjoy good reviews on E-Bay as well in reguards to fit ?

Have you heard back from anyone yet? I started working on my dash. Was going to blast it and put a padcover on it. I think the steel is to far gone and looking for complete replacement.
I found them at Dante's Mopar.

I have heard they are hook up with UR somehow. As far as getting a dash, Dave at Roselille is working on a group buy. He made a post about it?

You may want to check out Carolina Dash pad. They were talking about them over on Moparts Mike Ross from B/E&A said it was a quality product.

Aren't Carolina and Superior one and the same?
My name is Steve and I'm addicted to Challengers...

Might want to check this out.

I believe 71-74 Cuda dash pads are a different grain than 70?
Mine is a 70 and it's not a defined grain pattern like I've seen on 71' up. Smoother pattern.
I like it. Think it looks nicer than the grainy later year one's.

no listing for carolina, but there is a listing for Superior, they are partners with UR and mainly do ford pads.
