Newbie 71 Barracuda
« on: March 18, 2011 - 11:50:17 PM »
Great forum!  I'm starting the build on my 71 Barracuda and have been reading quite a bit on here.  Lots of good info.
I have a 06 5.7 and NAG1 engine/trans that I'm going to be installing after I decide on which front end to go with.  Leaning hard
towards the RMS.  Haven't heard anything bad about them.

I want the car to handle and drive great so I'm not going the stock restoration route.
Got a ton of work ahead but I've been loving it so far!  I'll post some pics as soon as I can.

Welcome aboard, Id like to go with RMS suspension as well when I get my cuda LOL But it's pretty pricey I figured I would try to build the same rear suspension they offer for much cheaper!
WANTED 71 cuda / barracuda project. Prefer Black but open.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Welcome. I just finished with my own 71 cuda restoration. I'm always intrigued with other members' projects -- especially the 71 cudas. I'm eagers to see some pictures of yours.

Welcome!  Sounds like a cool project.

If you really want to be cool, take the ugly 71 grill off your car and put on a 70.  Then since you won't be needing the 71 grill..... sell it to me!   :cooldancing:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
