Hello Mopar Conrads,

I been a member for a while but didnt introduce myself because I started my project about 11 years ago and it was a on and off procees due to many projects going on at the same time. House( Its livable but needs lil details here and there), Boat ( gone) Job ( Just takes most of my time but without one i wouldn't have the good things of life). Glad to be American and grateful for the Soldiers that have given us the freedom to live and enjoy the American way... wouldnt trade my Country for any other.
Now to talk about my 1971 RT Challenger. I completely took her apart to get her looking better then when she came out of the show room, I have ( help from local body shop to fix some of the body repair task) restored or replaced just about every nut and bolt on it. It was born GY3 Citron Yella or Curious Yella with a 383 HP but the OE engine was long gone before I purchased it. I attempted to look for the Block but had no luck so I purchase a 1970 383 HP thinking it will be close to matching. A few years  ago I had a change of mind about the engine and found a 1971 440 HP engine and upgraded to a six pack. So now Ole Yella is alive with a 440 six pack. Its almost done but still need misc interior and some AC components to have her driving in the summer heat this year. Well that a brief story of my Mopar. :working:
Thanks
Cdawg

LMAO...It does look like the paint has a tint of green. It's the camera and the day lighting changing the color from Citron Yella. It the original paint code GY3 that was sprayed on it. I will post better Pics and some engine bay shots too when the Sun finally decides to take a peak out in So Cal.

Regards

Welcome cdawg, not an old Navy man were ya? ;) Nice car and I remember driving my buddy's 440-6 and the sound of the carbs as they opened still stands the hair up on the back of my neck, so I'm just envious- enjoy both it and this site. Lots of cars, nice people and knowledge. Ian
