Quieter than usual?

Is is my imagination, or are there a lot fewer posts than usual lately?

Today for sure...May have to do with March Madness...& good weather has folks out of the house.
The other day someone posed a similar question & before you knew it the place was jumping.

Not sure why but this place does seem to be pretty quiet as of late.I still check in but don`t spend a lot of time here as I have a lot of other things going on right now.I`m sure in another month or so when we start getting the cars out it`ll pick up some.

Myself, I had a lot to do today.  Packing for work, going to the airport and renting a car for the week, stripping down my race carb so methanol doesn't eat the aluminum while i'm gone, doing expense reports, putting up lawn mowing equipment while i'm gone, cleaning the shop up, bunches of stuff today.   cruisin here now tho :2thumbs:

Yep, I am cleaning up the house for Spring Guests this week. The whole immediate family is coming for 3 or 4 days.

No working on the Cuda today, however, I did get up to 100 in my 69 Grand Prix 428.  Can't wait to  get a mopar running again.

Good to see ya so busy Al!

MEK,
So glad to see your back up to two finger typing!! Al, glad you got a O-Kee Doe-Key to go back to work. You do more than most folks 1/2 your age!! I'm chasing my tail trying to keep my fleet of 4 cars (plus 2 old Mopars) running. My daughter falls asleep at the wheel and tears up the front end on our van (thank God it was just the van). My wife gets hit driving her car and put's it OOC. Thank God she wasn't hurt. Just bruised. Then my daughter's car needs service so I spend all day givng it a gander. It's a 95 Ford Taurus with only about 60K miles on it. I beat my brains in trying to get some transmission parts. It seems Ford had some left over '94 transmissions and put one in her '95. Go figure. And here I thought only Ma Mopar did that!  :roflsmiley: Come on spring!! I finally got the Challenger out after working on the daughter's car all day & I burned just a little rubber yesterday behind the Advance Auto while making a stop for more parts. I get frequent flyer miles there!  :screwy: They all came outside to see the Challenger. One guy asked if it had a big block. I simply responded..."It's big alright!"  :smilielol:

it goes up and down.  even though it may seem a little less active, were not too far off from any time weve had in the last year.  that said, we did peak in activity right around 08 and things have been a little down from there.  but thats ok.  i think the board is more focused than its ever been.

Since I have been focusing on getting the Charger together, I admit that I've been spending more time on DC.com than here....

Spring like weather gets the rust belt and snow belt guys eager to get out and breath some mild fresh air again. I met with a contractor and it looks like he may get started on the "other" garage in about a month, we've been doing a few interrior mods. on the house in town, plans are to put it on the market by May and as soon as it sells we will be building a house down on the country property. Sadly all this probably means our cars will be taking  back seat status due to time management and  $$$, but I have been still getting parts to at least get the 440 in the Dart. Tony expects to have that custom hood finished by middle of next month so we will be heading out to see him and drop by our oldest son's place then too. Sure does feel good getting out and about.  :2thumbs:
