White interior paint
« on: March 20, 2011 - 05:29:14 PM »
Ok I been searching on the forum for many hours now and I can't find an answer. I need to paint the doors panel for the challenger and I can't find the right color. I already got one can made at a store and it just dont match with the new seat cover that come from legendary. I now know that most of you use SEM products. I would like to know witch ones are the right one for the prep and the paint and what color you use?

Thanks

For SEM paint, I believe you need 15313 white.

Herb's Parts has a new line of interior paints that may be worth taking a look at.  I've heard some good things about it.  I think they have a short video on their website now too.

Are you using their adhesion promoter too?  I know the website says you need to use it if painting metal or fiberglass.  It says nothing about needing it with plastic.  If you watch the video, they scrubbed a kick panel with soapy water and wiped it clean with asetone...that's it.

Not sure if you're asking me aboutmy experience or not but I used the fade away adhesion promoter.  It's a spray can of clear primer like stuff.

Well I wasnt sure I write them a E-mail and theire anser was that the adhesion promoter was only for use on metal and fiber glass. So I order just the paint. It still to cold outside to paint so I did'nt try it yiet.

White interior paint will be a good option!
But was wondering which would be better Adhesion Promoter or Plastic Adhesion as don't know the difference between them.
