What year are we talking about?

I know I've read an article or two on people taking them apart and cleaning them up.  They are usually all crusted up.  With a good cleaning it may come back to life.   :dunno:

Are you sure it's not your horn relay or switch? Did you run a wire over from the + terminal on the battery to the horn? That would be my first move. I'm sorry I can't help you more if it is indeed your horn.

Are the 72-74 Cuda horns the same as the 72-74 Challengers?  Are the Cudas locatied right infront of the radiator just like the Challengers?  I may have one Challenger horn but I'm not sure.  I have a horn off of something else that looks similar.  The bracket is not right but the horn looks close.  It's half metal and half plastic.

As long as you can rule out the wiring in the car, relay, horn switch, etc.
Ground the horn body and touch the positive horn terminal right to the positive battery post. Both my horns weren't working (ebay) turned the tone adjuster half a turn on each one and both of them fired up.

Worth a try.

Great link Wade! I knew I read about it somewhere.   If the horns are junk, you aren't going to hurt them any by pulling them apart.  If the 72 horns are half plastic like I think they are, be extra careful.
