My new project
« on: March 22, 2011 - 09:11:23 PM »
Here's my newest project. It's a 1957 Cushman. Do you think it will buff out?

Looks like a fun project.  :grinyes: A bit of blasting and body work should get her good for paint. How's the motor and other mechanicals?

Oh yes, that'll all buff out.  Just be sure to use some rust converter prior to it all & it should be good to go! :lol2:  Looks like a cool project & it's rather crazy just how much those things go for when they're restored.

Good eye Brooks, those are the original seats.....lol. Charlene just shakes her head when I bring stuff like this home. She knows its a disease I have.
I traded my old Challenger hood for it. It doesn't have a motor but I'll find one. This one is going on the back burner for now.

I'm thinking a 1100 Suzuki motorcycle engine...

That would be freakin' fast!!!!!

Judging from the large gear on the rear wheel, it looks like a minimal 3hp engine.  :2cents:

Looksey on craigslist and see if there are any free snowblowers.  Drop a 8-12 horse engine in it and have fun!
