How hard is it to rebuild hood hinges?also can I just buy the springs

Yes, ebay and moparts have good deals on them. Some people sandblast their springs and use a ball pen hammer on the rivets to 'restore' theirs. I sent mine out--can't remember who did 'em-will post if I find it.  I may also have a spare set of springs, if I find them I will let you know as well

on mine both the rivets and holes were worn/ oval.  I made slightly oversized rivets to fit the redrilled holes. If you have a lathe and know a thing or two about swinging hammers, it`s not too difficult, but it will take some precisionwork and time to get them free of play. If you have to pay someone to do it for you, you`re probably better off getting new ones.
Are you sure they need to be rebuild? If the problem is your hood popping up in the rear, you might want to try adjusting them first.
Loosen the front bolts and give the rear bolts a bit of space to move. Have someone push the hood up and tighten the bolts... see what happens.

Thx guys,they just wobble side to side..I think I might just buy new springs,and see what happens
