So I have a '70 'Cuda clone for sale (I'm sure some of you have seen it, I put her up
everywhere), but for the life of me I can't get her sold. I've shopped around to make sure I'm not asking too much, and my price is very fair from what i've seen. I get a lot of people asking to see pictures, wanting history and information, and who even want to come check her out in person. But once they get pictures, I never hear from them again, and those who say they'll come see her never show. I actually even sold her to someone who went to get money, but never returned (I left messages and e-mails, but I never heard from him again). I know it's a down economy right now, but not EVERYONE is poor. There are still people out there buying these things (aren't there?). Am I doing something wrong? Should I try to sell somewhere I probably haven't tried? Anyone here have similar experiences trying to sell a collector car? I'm more just venting then anything else, but if someone has any helpful hints on a good way to sell, I wouldn't turn it away
. I know if I could get a serious buyer here to check her out in person, she'd speak for herself about how great she is. It just feels like there are only tire-kickers left in the world.
Anyway, thanks for listening guys.
