This is a Factory Promotion car built by Chrysler to tout the all new 1970 Challenger.  Only a few examples were built, one for each sales district.  Each was equipped as this one, 440 SIX PACK. 4spd pistol Grip, 4:10 Dana Super Track Pack with every other available option installed at the factory.  At times they were all shown together at national auto shows and Dodge sponsored events.  Sometimes they showed by themselves in their own sales region.  This one was delivered to Hutton Donaldson Dodge Shreveport, La.  They were the largest performance sales store in their region.  All of the Factory promotion cars were build on the first day of production, 8/2/69.  Each one of them were equipped alike.  This is the only one that was fully intact, unmodified, and still in the possession of the original owner just prior to restoration.   She is FULLY documented including 2 broadcast sheets and some dealer paperwork.   The current owner bought it from the original and send it off to Roger Gibson for a meticulous NOS restoration.   They began with a no hit, no rust, original paint car with 100% of its original drivetrain.  When searching for replacements, they bought three of a kind NOS and picked the best one.  Roger completed the car about 7 months ago, what you are seeing is a zero mile concours #1 condition car, the best and the benchmark for the other 6 promo cars.

Offered at $350,000 and is located in Shreveport, LA . For additional photos and information visit: http://www.showyourauto.com/am/listings/l0284.html

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMIf I had the extra coin yes I would buy it.............. I'm sure Bar Jackson would get a higher price.
I wonder what the Y code reads.  My Gran Coupe is a Y-13 code ordered by dealer to promote the 1970 GC convertible E-body series.
The dealer displayed the car for over a year before selling it.

Early production cars didn't get the wood grain on the doors.

Those were an option in 1970, deluxe seat belts.  They were push button like a 71 and not aviation style like regular 70s
