My condolences Jeff and I know how you feel as my Dad died 2 yrs ago. Remember, you're never truly dead until you're forgotten and in that sense, your Dad will live forever in your heart and mind. Cherish the memories and go give your kids a hug.  :sadwavey:

sorry to hear about your loss Jeff, I lost my father on february 28 of this year too after over 3 years with of alzheimers and 6 heart attacks.  So I find peace in the fact that he has got to be in a much better place and he is definately resting in peace! and as someone else said he is never gone as long as his memory lives on in your heart!! and you share those memories with others!!    :angelwings:      :crying:

Thanks for all the thoughts and support everyone.I know many of you have been thru this and know how tough it is to have a loved one go thru a long illness. My mother was by his side thru it all and it really took a toll on her but we will get thru this as a family and remember my Dad as the great man he was and all the good times we had together.
