Hi Guys.

I got me a new alu radiator with shroud and fan. I purchased from a small vendor in the States
But the problems is at the fan is 24 volt. Can I require at he send me a correct one. Shipping should be to Denmark so it will cost some $ in shipping.

24 volt!? Did you tell him you're putting it in an airplane? Just kidding. Something is wrong here, because there are no 24 volt OEM systems that I've heard about. Where did you get the rating for the fan? Did you call the manufacturer about this? That's where I'd start.  :2cents:

Your location in relation to the vendor does complicate the matter. However since there was a mistake made and it wasn't made by you, and he acknowledges that, someone other than you is responsible for correcting this. Simple and plain in answer but not so in the reality of settlement. First and hopfully you have already done this, stop payment for the fan and then proceed from there to get the product you ordered. Hopefully also you have copies/record of all correspondence.  Good luck  :2thumbs:

Jim is correct. Have your card company cancel the payment for the fan portion. If they cannot do just the fan cancel it all And contest it. You didn't get what you ordered and should not have to pay to get it straightened out.

He was willing to take your money and ship the first fan to you.

It was HIS mistake...HE should have checked it out before he shipped it to you, knowing it was headed to Europe.

This is all on him.

Call your card company and put a hold on the transaction now, just in case.  You can reverse it later when (if) he mans up and does the right thing.

How much was the fan in question?  I assume that the fan could be swapped out by you if he sent the new/correct one?  The cost to ship to europe may outweigh the cost of the fan, so he may just eat the cost of the first fan....
