    Just to update this post.... it's been awhile. I ended up going with 2002-2006 Hyundai Tiburon seats.

    Thought Id revise this.
    Very nice seats in here, but I am looking at a pair of neon srt4 seats in good condition for about $250 the pair.
    Anyone tried these? Available local here on CList.
    My oem 71 buckets are 21 inches wide bottom and I want to keep it similar for obvious reasons.

    Porsche 911 Carrera seats has the similar slim look as the e-body buckets.
    I saw a Challenger online with those seats and it looked great, but I can not find that picture anymore.

    The neon SRT's are mine.
    Just have to find the time to get one county north to pay and pick them up.
    I really wanted viper seats, but the only local ones Ive seen they want twice as much for them.

    Yeah just make sure you sit in them first.  If you have really wide shoulders it might be a little tight.  Other than that they are pretty close to a Viper seat.  I think you can even buy the harness inserts for a 5 or 6 point harness.

    Here's mine.  These are Recaro seats out of a late 70's/early 80's BMW 3-series.

    I looked long and hard at Viper seats too, but gave up on the idea because of ( like you mentioned) the price but also because they don't flip forward for rear passengers. I believe the SRT Neon seats are the same? Also they didn't recline which is a great feature for be as I'm 6'1" and head room is better with a reclining seat

    I've got a set of these as well I'm planning on using, just have a lot more on my to do list before I get around to getting them in.

    I've been toying with the idea of 2011 Charger seat for my car, recovered to match interior.
    Not sure if the power option can be wired to work .
    Anyone know if the seats are controlled at the seat or thru a computer somewhere else in the car?

    I love those too, but for me theyre a little too fancy for a classic car.

    How is the clearance between the drivers seat and steering wheel?  The seat appears to come up in the front close to the wheel.
