I have to find a seat for my daughters Mazda. A place in spokane, Wa. has a large selection they have puled from wrecked cars. I think i will look around  and see what i can come up with. I need something better in my challenger also.

I'm wondering since the 70 Cuda has the fiberglass shell over the seat belt retractor - does this limit the types of aftermarket seats that can be used?

I really like PlumCrazys setup and I need to make a selection soon.

Potentially.  The retractors do limit how far the seat can go back though.  I had the bottom mounts relocated (moved back) on mine so they aren't in the way and have the correct angle so the operate correctly.

I have decided to not go with the retractors with the fiberglass piece. I am now going to try and weld up a config where I do NOT raise the height of the seat. This is always been my concern with trying to fab something using the stock seat sliders. Should be fun!

A buddy just bought some Audi TT 2003 black leather seats to install in his 71 Challenger we are building. They are nice looking seats, low and all manual controls ( no heavy electronics... to fail) very adjustable and mount flat so making mounts should be easy!  :2thumbs:
Just another option?

I run the ProCar Scat seats. They are as comfortable as a modern day SRT seat. They are high bolstered, and definitely hold you in place.
I bought the seats and the floor brackets from Summit. I am only disappointed in the adjustability/Dump feature.
They are a b!tch to slide forward, and they do not dump forward worth a damn.
other than that, they rock!

I am thinking about going with a modern Challenger rear seat cushion and back though....

I'll try to post some pics another time.. My computer/photobucket is acting up..

I am going with the Neon SRT seats as well in mine. I will have to find some pics. I am also putting in the seat belt holes in the seats like the ACRs had. I wanted to use the Viper seats but like everyone, they were too expensive for what they are (I love them in my viper). I used my Cuda seat brackets and modified them to the seats.
