Nice! How does the shoulder belts work? What do they anchor to?

For those of you with the Procar, or similar, seats from Summit, Jegs, etc that are on the lower end of the price scale for custom seats, How do they sit, feel, etc?

I had procars in my challenger last season, and they just looked to wide in the shoulder area when looking at them through the windshield.  Not alot of cushion in them either, and they sat up higher than I liked.  Hence why I am switching to the pontiac g8 seats.

think I saw some on ebay the other day...take some pictures of the mounting and let us know how high they set once in.   Height is often a problem.  They look nice :)

The seatbelts are connected to the inertia control which is built into the seat. The seat is mounted to the floor. I did weld plates in the floor for the seat bolts.

My new Corbeau Sport Seats: Ordered extra material and had the shop make matching covers for the rear seat.

my stock 71 cuda seats allow me just barely enough room to squeeze my right leg under my rimblow steering wheel when I get in, and I'm only 5'9" and 200 lbs.
I cant imagine any of these seats that have a high bolster for your thighs would give me any room under the wheel. My legs would have to straddle the steering wheel while driving.

I like those! :2thumbs:   The stiching pattern is pretty close to a 70 seat too! Exactly what year of Celica seats are they? Are they stock or did you have them re-done? Do they fold forward to allow someone to get in the back seat? ( I have 3 boys that love to go cruizin!) Manual adjustments or electric?

2000 and up Toyota Celica,  manual adjustments.   Divers seat has a bottom seat up and down adjustment of appro. 3 inches.  Both seats fully recline and flop forward and passenger seat will spring forward to let the chitlens in.   Had the m copied in my stock seat pattern so they match the back to a T.

Easiest swap ever done was these into the cuda, I've done this swap a few times on older celicas and it was a bear.

All you need is the seats, cuda/ chally floor mounts, knowledge of a tape measure, a welder, some strips of flat steel, a can of black spray paint an a good upholstery guy and BAM!  Yer done lol.

But seriously you can make these happen for around $750ish. That's about what I got into them.

They sit pretty much level with the flat part of the console up front and dip back towards the rear.  That white thing is an 8" tall paper flyer for reference and you can see the space from my 14" grant wheel.
