B2 Blue, Should I or should I not?
« on: April 05, 2011 - 10:57:39 PM »
I really need to see a fresh B2 71 Cuda in person.
I just am not totally sold right now on going B2. So please tell me what you think.

Today my painter who has the booth in Salinas agreed to let me participate in some of the easy paint work, tape, and paper hanging.

I'm about to begin the total blocking of the whole car. It could be done in a few months at most if I go at it every week-end. It's not too late to sand what areas I painted B2 and switch. I just did only the obscured areas like inside the cowl and up inside the trunk.

Thanks,

Mike

You didn't include B2 in your poll, Mike.
I couldn't vote! I really like the clean looks and the fact that it will set it off from the majority.

I just voted: other but my vote doesn't count.
Just so I could see the results.  It wouldn't let me unless I voted.

Mike,

I voted for GY3, as I think it looks bad a$$ on a 71 Cuda.  :2thumbs:

To me, B2, just dosn't "pop" enough for a true muscle car.

Ron - Born and raised in Southern California

I got the 1970 Cuda, but still need the hot blonde to ride shotgun!

First car -1969 Road Runner 383 4sp

Current ride - 1970 Barracuda 440-6 4 sp Dana 60  (4:10)

I voted for B2 because they all can't be the coolest color..... Hemi Orange!   :stirpot:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I vote B2, i think the car in that thread looks amazing!!

I also am leaning toward being one of those people that pushes factory color, since i have been reconsidering my GF7....

Mike,

How original is the drivetrain?  If it's all original, then yes, I would likely go B2 Blue.  If the drivetraine is not original, then go with the color you are passionate about.

Was Tawny Gold, beige interior, green top, 2 tag, 318 G.C.
Can't go back to that.  :grinno:

Oops.. that changes everything!  I thought B2 was the original color.  I would change my vote now.
