Did you ever have one of those days? Update 4/7/11
« on: April 06, 2011 - 04:40:59 PM »
...When you wish you could go back to bed and start over?

My car met Bambi on the way to work this morning. It was standing in the other lane, and I hoped it would flee off to the left side of the road. Nope. Apparently it had some squirrel DNA in it, and it headed right towards me.    :stomp:  Neither my car or the deer fared well. Last seen, it was flopping on the side of the road like a fish out of water. I was not in a mood to help it.

I'm waiting to hear what the damage is, but I'm on the hook for the $500 deductible. When the guy at the body shop popped the hood, there was broken plastic everywhere. I was afraid to pop the hood before that out of fear it wouldn't close again. The headlight bucket is just sitting there.

AWWW Crap! Sorry to hear/see this! To find a "bright side" at least it was the new Challenger instead of the 1970. New parts are easily available for the new one.
Still sucks though! Sorry it happened!  :sadwavey:

Look on the bright side, $500.00 and you have someone else repair it for you with brand new parts...just be glad it wasn't a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T......Yeah, try getting that one repaired at the local bodyshop...

Agreed, some days, you just can't hit the ground with your hat.

I hit a raccoon doing 75mph, felt bad for the poor fella...until I saw it ripped open my bumper!   :swear:
