A Plymouth Lincoln?
« on: April 07, 2011 - 03:36:24 AM »
I stopped by a shop I sometimes take my car(s) to a few days ago.

Pulled up near the office in my '66 Plymouth Fury and there was a woman about 60 years old in the waiting room.
She sees me pull up and says to me, "Is that a Lincoln?" I told her it is a '66 Plymouth. I made sure to mention the year so she wouldn't get the idea it was a '55 or something like that.

I've never heard of a Plymouth being mistaken as a Lincoln! Maybe that shows how upscale a '66 Plymouth can look?

Here is a photo of the angle she saw. This was taken at the same shop but from July, 2009.

HAHAHAHAHA
We have all been there, the spectators at carshows or cruises also do not know what they are looking at.
Young or old.  You can have fun with them.  They have no idea what make or year it is.
Most know what a mustang or chev are but when it comes down to Mopars they are lost.............[/b]
