I stopped by a shop I sometimes take my car(s) to a few days ago.
Pulled up near the office in my '66 Plymouth Fury and there was a woman about 60 years old in the waiting room.
She sees me pull up and says to me, "Is that a Lincoln?" I told her it is a '66 Plymouth. I made sure to mention the year so she wouldn't get the idea it was a '55 or something like that.
I've never heard of a Plymouth being mistaken as a Lincoln! Maybe that shows how upscale a '66 Plymouth can look?
Here is a photo of the angle she saw. This was taken at the same shop but from July, 2009.
