    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

     :scared:  :scared:  :scared: holy crap Phil!  Talk about a dangerous situation.  I've seen a Tv documentary on the plant very hi-tech. Hope that was for the lot and not someones order.

    With all the Tin foil everywhere, looks like they might have been doing some paint touch-up and got a heat lamp a little too close.  Too bad for the car.  Looks like an SRT.  Wonder if there will only be 1099 of 1100 or if they will build one to replace it.

    I've been through that plant and they're pretty careful! It looks to have started in the lft frt corner as shown by the melted alum hood. I don't know if that's tinfoil. It looks more like the deployed and cut out airbags that would have cooked off. Damn shame any way you look at it!  :eek4:
