Your computer lost your profile. First try a reboot. Then go from there if it is all still gone.

Sometimes the Menus are hidden by accident or by malware....

If you suspect malware run Malwarebytes http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4716-malwarebytes-anti-malware.html

That would be bad news for Bigs.  :scared:

I hope it's not that bad.

more problems for shoulder boy :naughty:

step one.  scan your system for malware and viruses using that malwarebytes and trend housecall if youre not using a hardware based av.

step two.  use system restore if you have it turned on to restore your computer to the state it was a couple days ago.

step three.  free internet porn sites are a leading cause of malware dispersal.  im not implying anything here but you have been out of commission . . . . . . .

Before even trying system restore. Better make sure any bugs are gone. If you got a bug, that is one of the first things they infect. I have had to put hard drives into a clean system to scan them first and get the bugs off.

Any other trouble showing like pop-ups Bigs? Profiles can also just get messed up and Windows will make a new one and all your old stuff is in a profile with ".old" added to it. Most of it could be recovered if that happened.

Boy, Chris.  That stinks!!!  :crying:  Hope you sorta recall all the favorites.  When I got a new computer I had to rebuild all the favorites, it was tough.  I now there's many I lost.

But at least you still found us!!!

I had a similar situation where I would lose things.  My hard drive would drop cookies such as the passwords etc.  I found out that the hard drive was simply worn out.  I replaced it and everything has been good.  You don't have to go to the porn sites to have problems.  All you need to do is to receive mail from someone who does.  Try using the system restore after you use the other suggestions. I am thinking your browser is set to not accept cookies.

I was thinking the same thing!  :misbehaving:   Maybe it's the mcaffe, try the free microsoft antivirus.  Maybe your computer needs a good spring cleaning!

Don't bother with the windows anti virus it could be up to 2 years out of date. McAffe is also known for being slow on picking up the latest viruses and other problems. I use AVG 2011 anti virus which is updated sometimes twice a day and there is a free version, also Spybot & Malwarebytes, I check the anti virus update first everytime I log onto the internet.

Hee, hee...she never looks at what I type...  :grinno:  :sly:  She's not into cars at all.

My car is like eye candy though...I don't much time to work on it and the wife doesn't like to see me work on it so when I can even put my hand on it it makes me feel good...

I know, I'm weird...   :woo:
