Hello everyone!
Well, I have a Challenger back in my life. When I was 17, my dad asked me what car I would like to have. I Said a 1970 Dodge Challenger. We found one, 318, no great stuff about it. But by the time him and I were done dumping $$$ into it... it was a head turner. So.. as that story goes.. I sold it, and have kicked myself in the @ss every day for the past 13 or so years.
So last September, I happened to be driving along and in someone's driveway was a 1970 plum crazy RT/SE 440 4-speed Challenger. I ran up to the house and the guy had a huge smile on his face. We talked about the car and cars for over an hour. And then, I said the words that i ALWAYS heard when I had my challenger... "if you ever want to sell it, call me." So.. he did. and now.. it's MINE MINE MINE!!
So, here's what i have... it's NOT a real R/T, but it is a real SE. It had a 383.. now with a 440. It is a factory plum crazy car. If this were a real RT/SE I could NOT afford it. so.. i'm TOTALLY happy about my driver. well.. that's it.. i FINALLY have one again. Now.. to work out the bugs. lol
I got a clicking noise in the back, the clock doesn't work (non rallye dash) and some other small stuff. I can't wait to get her how i want her exactly.
