Doors - Internal Metal Prep

Hi Everyone, (first time posting)

I have been working on my interior and i successfully removed the windows and rails from the doors so that I can clean them up, replace the rollers and so on since they were sticking. Now I'm wondering what I should do about the minor surface rust on the inside of the doors before I re-assemble them.
I don't want to do anything extreme since the doors are A: still mounted on the vehicle, and B: the exterior paint is still pretty good (a full paint job will happen someday when I have more time and money, not necessarily in that order)

Should I just spray some rust converter in there?

I'm not sure what you are thinking, but removing the doors is not hard.  This is coming from a newb.  It's a matter of unscrewing the hinge bolts on the car.  Whatever you do, the 30 minutes you spend removing the doors may save you much more in being able to position it properly for the rust removal/treatment.

I'm no expert, so I beleive in duct tape and wd-40 
When I had my door trim apart I made sure I soaked the bottom inside with wd-40. There was little or no rust I could see, but those creases are a definite starting spot for rust. Wd-40 should buy you time anyway.
But then again my advice is free, so take it for what its worth.

last night i just done mine. mine are off of the car and stripped, but you could do it on the car. brush or scrap any loose rust you can get to. blow it out good with a air hose. then brush on por-15. after it dries, if there is any places that you can see but not get to,then you can spray on rust stop. but you don't want to use the rust stop first, and then use por-15. wear gloves and a long sleeve shirt you can toss when you are done. good luck..
