Is it possible there is a second location for them too?  I was looking back over my photos of my car that I took when I was doing tear down and found that mine look to be installed on the floor (look to the right of the seat belt)

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

The piece you show there is a flat, squared 90* piece of sheetmetal with the holes to mount to the floor and interior panel. You showed a similar channeled piece with rounded ends earlier.

Oh my!  :22yikes: I better look around, I sure don't remember those pieces, and I will be putting in my interior trim this week.

I would add:
Install all the screws for the add on items (rear view mirror, sun visors, over head lamp) before you install your headliner. It is easy to find the correct mounting locations by feeling trough the fabric for the screw heads. Then when you make your insision, it will be right on target.
Also, take pictures of the shoulder harness anchor bolt locations and the shoulder harness storage clip screw holes. Easier to know where these holes are now, then trying to hunt around for them once the headliner is installed. The sail panel is easy enough to locate correctly and then add the coat hook.

I was thrilled to find out what the rear side trim brackets were for, thinking they were for out side the car with no obvious use.  Today I tried to install my brackets and could not figure out were they go.  Looking at the picture posted by budar did not help me.  Matching my rear side trim to the bracket indicated the screw from the side trim goes into the bracket on a horizontal angle and not the vertical angle as in budar's picture. MY trim panel (Challenger) has a screw hole 15 1/8 inches rearward of the front screw hole.  This indicated my bracket would be at least two inches rearward of where budar's picture indicates.  My bracket appears to be a little different than either Cody's or budar's.  See photo below.  Mine has a number EMF 30 on it and does not have a little tang just below the screw for mounting to the body.  Where am I going wrong?  PK

???  Your bracket looks like the one in Cody's picture, only upside down.

burda , thanks, I installed the floor brackets today. My car does not require the upper bracket under the quarter window.  The screw hole in my side trim panel is 15.25 inches from the front hole and there is a screw hole in the body in just the right place.  I've included pictures.  I'm going to post in this section on another question that I hope you guru's can help me with.  Thanks, PK
