Mine took a few weeks longer to show up than initially expected.  Threw off my time schedule, and the N/S switch that came installed was a bad switch, but they shipped a new one right away.

Im a happy camper when its all said and done.

question for people driving with the 5 speed; what is your top speed? what gear ratio are you using?

I havent had it up that fast yet in 5th, I use a 3.91 rear, and i can cruize at 70-80 mph and be comfortable. I havent had it over 80 yet with the 5 speed. But im sure it will get up there pretty good.

72Cuda, go to www.keislerauto.com, there is a calculator there where you can enter a gear ratio and it will compute your speed in fifth gear

ya i did play around with that, but i don't belive i could ever top out in 5th gear at over 200mph. just wondering if anybody can actually get any higher speeds out of 5th gear. with 3.91 gears 120 is the end of the line for me now. the main reasons for getting the 5 speed is to be able to drive my car everyday without excess wear and fuel consumption. plus the excitement of pulling the pistol grip. i guess i'll find out if i get to see the 150 mark after i get the rest of my kit.

3.91s are going to give you a pretty short 1st gear unless youre running tall rear tires with a Keisler.

I have 3.55s and 25" tires and my first gear is short enough Id like to have had 3.23's again and the closer ratio 5th gear.  ( I have the .64)

i was kinda concerned with first gear that's why i definetly had to stay away from the tko 500.

with 3.91  gears and the .64 overdrive do you have any acceleration in 5th?  :burnout:

yeah no problem with acceleration.  Its a 440 you know :) hahaha
75 mph has me cruising at 2200 RPM, and unles Im doing over 55, I stay out of 5th gear, as the RPMs dont really make more than 4th necessary .

ok had the cuda out this past weekend..  went through the gears with my foot on the floor..  I shifted into 5th and let out looked down and the speedo was buried. (120mph) still had all of 5th to wind out. I would say it should have at least 150mph in it, if not 160. (scared the crap out of me)

I have 3.91 gears with 28inch MT drag radials.

Was able to finally drive my challenger around the neighborhood for the first time in 4 years today. Was only able to get it to third gear but the gears seemed spaced nicely and everything seemed to work ok. :woohoo: Can't wait to get it out and drive on the main roads and see how she does. (I was so excited I forgot to take pics)

Well yestereday the weather was nice here and I was able to get the Challenger on the road for the first time in 4 years. I put about 7 miles on it and was able to shift through all 5 gears several times. Everything seems great so far. Didn't want to go to far as I need to get the front end aligned. But after driving it yesterday, all the hastle with installing the Keisler trans appears to be all worth it. Hope everyone else gets theirs worked out.
