Found a VERY cool consignment bone yard...
« on: April 24, 2011 - 05:32:14 PM »
...somewhere between Chicago and St. Louis.  After a tornado hit St. Louis' Lambert Int.l Airport on Friday, me and the fam ended up driving from Chicago to St. Louis for Easter.  We stumbled on this consignment bone yard near old Route 66.  Lots of vintage muscle.  Unfortunately no E-Bodies, but some Mopars......

That puts me in the mood to go yarding. To bad there is nothing near me anymore.

That looks like Dave's Classic Cars just south of Springfield.  That's where I bought my Cuda from about 3 years ago.  There was a 73 Cuda there that I picked my 72 over, sounds like the 73 is now gone.  The 73 was in slightly worse shape.  The green Roadrunner/GTX is what grabbed my attention and prompted a buddy and me to stop in to kick tires.  Well, things got a little more serious than just kicking tires.  Before I knew it, we were loading up a car on a trailer to bring home!

Yup, stopped there last year on the way to Monster Mopar.  Take a look in this album.
