A funny thing happened wednesday evening.My sons and I were having a wheelie popping contest on one of their original Schwinn Stingrays.When it came my turn I should have said "HEY YA"LL! Watch THIS! , as I proceeded to go over backwards after about 20' and I landed wrong on my right leg.After a visit to the E.R. I am now the proud owner of a broken fibula just below the knee putting me out of commission for 4-6 weeks.So much for getting the "GOLDFISH" done in time for my spot at the U.S.Nat's this year.Oh well , playing with my boys is the BEST.Here's a pic of one of the coolest bikes EVER made.Springer front end with ape hangers,Slick on the back and a banana seat.

did anyone tape you stunt? must have been one of them "lay flat on the floor from laughing" moments....

Well after 2 weeks of serious editing,deleting,adding,and fact checking we are finally done with the article and interview on the "GOLDFISH" and it should be posted this week,also Kearney Cruise Nights was this last weekend and I thot I would post a few pics.

Hey gang,I know it's been awhile since I've posted so I thought I would get back at this again.I have recently finished rehab on my leg and we decided to move to a much better place all the way around.Just letting you all know the drivetrain is completed and ready for install next week or so.I will post pics when it is in.

GranCuda1970,Yeah I am really excited to know I have an engine comparable to what the G.C.'s put together and THEY had every thing you can imagine at their disposal.I had to work hard to pay for it all but like you I think it sounds pretty strong too.Thanx for the feedback.I just haven't seen many small blocks with that much oomph.

Hey folks,been awhile but I have news so I"M BACK! The money tree has blossomed and I have found a financial backer who has invested enough money for me to finish "GOLDIE" as fast as I can find the remaining parts to get this fish done by the time fo my my scheduled event,which is in May.I will be done in time to get my NHRA certification to proceed with this years NHRA schedule.I am going to try to get my thread moved out of newb and into a project forum so be on the lookout.I am going to start posting new pics,hopefully next week I will have progress to show you all.It's GREAT to FINALLY be able to finish this 12 year restoration.
