Hey guys and dolls, just got the drivetrain in first of the week and also had the front end aligned and raised as high as possible. You will see from the pic I need all the room under the car I can get.putting in the brake lines and front of the motor (alternater and pulleys) this week and next.Speaking of pulleys,my crankshaft pulley will not work with my water pump setup. It is from a later year 340 and is deeper than the one for a 273 so it throws my crank pulley out of line.I found a place on the web that makes a red aluminum crank pulley for my 273 that is thicker on the mounting surface so you can machine it to fit the alignment of the other pulleys.HOWEVER, I cannot find that website again for the life of me,If anyone knows who makes and sells them please let me know.Enjoy the pics .I also got lucky and got the GOLDFISH street legal, plates and all.Be back soon with more updates. All the original Hurst equipment is in.

Good to hear from you guys that were following my restore from the start,Dutch,GranCuda70,Mopar Fanatic and all the rest of you.It has been a long road.I had John Dallafior's actual signature put in gold on the passenger side to honor him as the original driver who who won the 65 nat's.with the car.GOD rest his soul.I am having a MAJOR problem getting my clutch to disengage but before I post in tech help I have a few things to check so I don't look like a total idiot.I may be,but I don't want to look like one. Thanx again for all your positive comments. If any of you make it to N.C. in Oct. you br sure to find me and Goldie. We will be in the GOLDEN COMMANDOS area.
