I did manage to snag all the mags the GOLDFISH was featured in back in the day also.First is a pic of ... well it should be obvious.I only wish I could locate that trophy, and the blonde, or one of her daughters to pose with the car.

And for all those members who are close to Henderson,N.C. I hope to see you there at the first event the "GOLDFISH" will be seen at in over 45 years. One more document to add to my Bona Fides.

And to Super Blue 72 , It belongs back on the track to eat MUSTANG MEAT ! Honestly it belongs out there where Mopar fans can enjoy it. Plus she is by no means a trailer queen or perfectly done but she looks like and does what she used to and that was my original intent.Thanx for the compliment tho.

Mopar Fanatic , Brainard is on the list, its relatively close to me and the car did run there back in the day. The events I have already booked are Mopars on the strip in Vegas next Feb. or mar. and Mopars at Carlisle in Pa. there is one at Pomona and there is a big event at Bakersfield also next year but scheduling isn't worked out yet. As far as the vid I have to upload it from my buddy's computer cuz I don't have the URL. Today hopefully

Well , Well , Well ,  :swear: :swear: :swear: There is a tranny removal in the near future for me as I have a nasty grinding noise in my new clutch ass'y. I guess its a good thing I did all the work myself so I don't have anyone to blame but me if something was installed incorrectly,DRAT! Hopefully I will have it fixed by the weekend as I am running out of time to get all the bugs worked out before I go to N.C. :pullinghair:

I'm thinking if I have to pull the tranny it's not minor. The motor sat for over a year after the dyno with the clutch ass'y installed and it got stuck together so when I towed the car in 4th gear to break it loose it was grinding pretty good,(only towed it about 30') because metal to metal grinding never seems to get better on its own or go away, I either disintegrated the clutch disc or, (GOD forbid) I was not thinking and put the disc in backward. However, if I remember correctly the disc was marked for direction and I kinda remember that it wouldn't bolt up with the pressure plate and the flywheel if the disc was backward.Besides the fact that I am going to look like a complete idiot if i did that. Also it could be that the shifting fork is contacting the back of the pressure plate when I engage the clutch. I Will find out Thursday when I go back to work on her. After I take off the inspection cover I think I can pull the shifting fork out and pull back the T.O. bearing enough to completely unbolt the pressure plate and get a good look at flywheel and see if it is scored from the clutch. Then I can come up with a game plan to fix the problem. I just hope that I don't have to have the flywheel turned as it is new and balanced. I do hope its an easy fix though, hope for the best prepare for the worst right? :violin:    If anyone has a better idea or approach please feel free to let me know if I'm way off base with my plan of attack.

:cooldancing: You put the new driveshaft in , you take the new drivesahft out , and then the tranny grease leaks out , that's what it's all about. You do the GOLDFISH POKEY and pull your hair out  :pullinghair: , that's what it's all about! You put the 833 in , you take the 833 out , you put in on the ground and it rolls all around , that's what it's all about. You do you the GOLDFISH POKEY and you beat your brains out  :banghead: ,that's what it's all about. You put a new clutch in , you take the new clutch out , you turn the disc around cuz it's inside out  :swear: :stomp: :swear: , that's what it's all about. You do the GOLDFISH POKEY and you figure it out. That's what it's all about. :cooldancing:

Clutch is done  :woohoo: runs a bit rough sometimes at high rpm but Alas poor Yorick, I am leaving for the East Coast this afternoon. I figure the Commandos can tune it in. Hope to see you there and stop by and say hi if you are. Pics and Vids to come after the weekend.

Thanx Dutch, no ETA's yet but we did figure out the carb. issues I was having. I'm waiting to get into the local drag strip and make a few passes as soon as it's warm enough on a weekend.
