Well here is something new to check out until I get more pics of the car show.

If the segment on my car does not start right away it runs from 6:25 to 9:47.

This is for anyone out there, members and nonmembers, My car has a Facebook page under the name of Goldie Fisher. The profile pic is the one taken at the '65 U.S. Nat's trophy presentation. Come one come all. I will friend everyone because it is all about the car.

I went by my office Friday and picked up my mail. My best bud JR says "it feels like a brick". Here is the text of the note that was inside the box. "Enclosed you will find a brick from the Chrysler Hamtramck assembly plant (where Barracudas were made) with your name on it for your induction into the Mopar Hall of Fame. These building blocks of Chrysler Corporation are given to inductees who are the building blocks of the Mopar hobby. We thank you for all your dedication". So it was a brick after all. How blessed I am to have been given this honor.

Thanks cudamadd, it was totally unexpected and a great honor to be included amongst the greats of Mopar history. Here is new pic I found that shows the second fastest dial-in the GOLDFISH ever ran at 11.59 in a nighttime match race. It kind of looks like it is really close to getting the front wheels off the ground. The way the Golden Commandos tell it and from other pics I have that look similar they just had a great setup to get hooked up off the line in big hurry. I only hope when I lay down some runs this spring I can equal the times they ran back in the day.
