We adopted these two guys, brothers Rikki and Rikor, from a rescue organization after a couple weeks after, our house was just too quiet. They are shepard/?? mix and about a 1 1/2 years old and full of energy. It`s not quiet anymore!!

Wow, thiis thread is great, to all of you who have lost your pets, my sympathies, we lost one we had for 17 years and it was pretty aweful, you cannot live with these pets and not love them a whole bunch. Every picture tells a story here, you can see it in most of their eyes, in PistolGrippers case, you can see it in his teeth!! JK PG, cool dog! And those are beautiful birds Rev, (hope you are feeling okay by now)

Thought I'd post a pic of my wife's 13 yr. old Springer Spaniel.  She's curled up with her duckey.  You give her a toy and it lasts for years, give one to my dog Amber, it lasts seconds.  ;D

Here's our 7yr old English Springer Spaniel, Gunner.

Used to be a good hunter till he became gun shy, go figure.

Thats the sad thing about having pets like dogs etc because they get involved in our lives so much, when you lose them it's pretty tough, you say to yourself, I'm not getting another dog and going through that again! 3 Months later.........."Herrrrrre boy"  ;D

I love this thread.  the only problem is, there isn't enought room for all of the pictuers of my dog.  She is everything to me.  I tried to find some good ones.  The first is a good shot of her, the second is her helping me out with the Barracuda, and the third is of her along with my wife and I right after we got home from our own wedding reception last year.
