Sharon's Web Seat Belt Restorations
« on: April 26, 2011 - 02:26:12 PM »
I just want to give a quick shout out to Sharon with Sharon's Web.  She restores seatbelts, and has her shop in east Texas.  I just got back the full set for my wife's 66 Charger, including all buckles and retractors, and they look better than new.  She was great to work worth, and is very reasonable.  I had a partial extra set that was pretty old and crappy, but she ook in everything I had, and credited me back for what parts she could scrounge out of the extras.  I'll try to post pics when I get a chance.

Can you tell us about how much she charges?
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I believe it came out to around $65 per set (2 belts), including chroming the buckles.  It was a few dollars to re-color the retractor boots, and a little more to re-chrome one of the retractors.  My total bill, including shipping, came to just over $300.00, but I did not have her transfer the original cloth labels, which would have been something like $5 each, and I also had some credit back for the extra pieces I sent.

I went with a very basic job just to get them looking nice for the new interior, but I think she offers other options depending on your level of restoration.
