Do I need to change my brake pedal?

I'm picking up a 71 Challenger next weekend and it has manual drum brakes all the way around. Want to convert topower with front discs. A buddy of mine said he did this on his Mustang and had to change the brake pedal because it was different from manual to power and the brakes were super sensative with the power setup using the original manual pedal.
Will I have to change the pedal on my Challenger and is it a tough job?

Thanks, that's a relief Wasn't looking forward to replacing the pedal. Were you referring to manciniracing.com? I looked there but didn't see a MC. Maybe I'll have to call to get info.
