Chick cars!!
« on: May 01, 2011 - 10:24:32 PM »
I was out for several hours today, the nicest day all year, and saw a total of five new Challengers.

They were ALL being driven by women!!   :burnout:

Are our cars becoming Chick Cars, like the VW Cabriolet, Smart car, and the Miata?  (Not   that   there   is   anything   wrong   with   that!)

I used to be in the car sales business so it doesn't surprise me.

Women are 80% the decision makers on car choice/purchase.   :horse:

I think that's great news!  The automobilia hobby has been dominated by guys.  It's great to see more gals getting into muscle cars.

Does that mean no more fart jokes and burping contests at car shows???

Interesting...what models were they that you saw?  Were they 6 cylinder, R/T or SRT?

The one locally I know of is driven by a woman, 6 cylinder.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

These were 2 RT, 2 SRT and one unknown (a great-looking lowered black on black with black wheels...)

I also see quite a few plain jane Challys parked at Wall-Mart and Costco.
I love seeing women in these cars.
Did you ever notice that all the women who drive these cars are HOT?

I hear ya Burnt Orange.. it's the same when I see a women/girl in a drivers suit. They could be a 5 out of 10 but with the drivers suit on it always bumps them up a few points in my book! :2thumbs:

This little ol gal did a lot of cruisin over the years in their 66 Hemi Satellite Convertible,
Their is a fair amount of gals that drive a new school Mopar, Ford, Cvy and a-body, b-body and other rods and customs in Maryland,
Just as a car has shapes and sizes so do the gals behind the wheel.    :bananasmi

She'll show us whippersnapper where to put the pedal to the medal. I agree  :useless: But where safety goggles you'll poke yer eye out and go blind!!! I think most husdbands can only buy one unless they promise to let the wifey drive it. I would love to own one they are bad ass and sweet lookin but a little out of the price range for a SRT , I will buy one and fix it up like I am doing to the Gran coupe now.
