I think the Penquins have the momentum going into tonight's game 7. The finals against the Sharks is going to be great.

I always said I want close games,win or lose, but all these OT and one goal games and losing 3 goal leads, enough. Ugh!

I have a ticket to game 5 .
I grew up in Pgh and went to the Igloo hundreds of times, Penguins, Hornets,Condors , Harlem Globetrotters and concerts.
After vowing to never set foot into the new arena , you don't tear down the only stainless steel dome in the world, after acquiring pieces of that stainless steel roof , I carry a piece always, after watching a video of my 6 year old great-nephew skating and having a conversation with Sidney Crosby in that new arena , after my little brother says he will buy me a game 5 ticket to thank me for taking him to the Igloo for Pens games way back in the early 80's , after realizing it is possible Game 5 will win the Stanley Cup, I will be at Game 5, probably wearing my Ogie Oglethorpe jersey.

I've had to talk myself out of going to game 5 numerous times now... I can say I do agree with you on the Igloo statement (Went to the last over game played there game 7 vs Montreal.) As much as the Consol is nice and as many games that I have been there, it def doesn't have that same feel as the old barn did. Especially the way the sections were built up and not out so it seemed like the fans were right on top of the players. BUT having said that I do hope the Pens win it at home this year considering all 3 cup clinching wins have been on the road.

We had a six brothers reunion at The Civic Arena on my 51st birthday 3-27-2010, last time in The Igloo.
Took our niece and her son, first great nephew , 2 years old to the game, she named her second son after a Penguin , Guerin.

The Pequins are set to raise the cup in Pittsburgh tomorrow night. They're up 3-1 in the series and are ABSOLUTELY out playing the Sharks. The announcers are STILL ACTING LIKE THE SHARKS HAVE A CHANCE??? Let's GO PENS!!!

The Sharks have no answer for the Penguin's speed, plain and simple. The Sharks have never led in the series except for that overtime game they won.

I think the key is to keep MA Fleury out of the game.  The new kid has been great.

I am confused though..why so long between game 4 and 5...the NHL has killed all the momentum and excitement!

   I think the NHL is trying to become like the NBA. Pretty soon it will be down to 2 games a week so we can draw the season out longer.
