340 cast crank/904 converter weights?

Got the correct harmonic balancer on my cast crank 340, I will need to add weights to the torque converter. T-Flite Patty on Ebay has a kit, but does anyone know how much weight to add and where to add it? I have access to a scale which will weigh in grams, so I can get the weight right, but I don't know for sure where to put them.

If you could direct me to the proper one for a 340 cast crank I would appreciate it. A 340 is different than a 360(I have been told).

I can find flex plates for 340/727 but none listed for 340/904. Do the 727 and 904 converters have the same mounting bolt pattern? I looked at a different 904 out of a car, it appeared that the converter mounting bolts were on a 10" circle. Would this apply to all 904's?

Check and see if you have one for sure, and let me know what you want for it. I don't think they wear out very quickly. We are having 'puter problems, so no email, post back here if you have one and how much you want.

I have this in the box unopened.  PN B&M 10234  I thought the 340 Ext balance took a different flexplate for a 904.  They don't seem to stock this part anymore.

How about $40 + shipping  IIRC it was 80+ when I bought it.  Let me know.  Not sure the best way to ship it?

They don't stock it any more because the 10235 took it's place (904/727) The balance has nothing to do with 727 or 904, the flex-plate has a "tri-bolt pattern" so it fits them both 904 and big pattern 727. The small bolt pattern 727 is the same bolt pattern as a 904.

So the 10234 is only good for a 904 tranny or small 727, and the 10235 is good for either 904 or 727? Am I understanding correctly? If I were to want to go to a 727 trans at sometime in the future, is it likely I would have converter fitment issues if I had the 10234 plate? What determines small or large converter on a 727?

If you want I can measure the bolt circles on this flex plate before you buy it.

The 10234 will fit all 904's and all small bolt pattern 727 converters. It is a two bolt pattern/one diameter flexplate (4 holes for 5/16 bolts and 4 holes for 7/16 bolts that are used in the higher stalls) It is like the middle one in this pic, where as the 10235 is like the bottom one (12 holes instead of 8 ) with two diameter bolt patterns
