Newbie from CO with a 74 Cuda
« on: May 06, 2011 - 12:27:21 AM »
I'm Randy from Denver, CO and I'm an alcoholic...  Oh wait, wrong forum.  I'm picking up a 1974 Cuda tomorrow and just wanted to introduce myself to the Mopar Community.  This is my first muscle car and can't wait to start working on it.  I've spent most my life in the import scene, until I saw the light, or at least most of my friend's that have muscle cars rag on me and my imports.  Other vehicle's I own is an 02 Subaru WRX, 04 Ford F150 and a 08 Yamaha R1.  I can't wait to start learning about my new project.  I'll attach a couple of pics of my soon to be ride.

The ride home was awesome!  I got a lot of respect from people on the road and some thumbs up.  Can't wait to start working on this car!   :swaying: :jumping:

Welcome to the site!
Always glad to see another Colorado guy.

What's your fender tag readout?

Details on the car?

Fender tag readout as in the VIN?

My co-worker(He also has a Challenger & Road Runner) bought it from someone a few years ago and found out that he is going to be a daddy soon, so he had to sell one of his toys.  He told me that the previous owner just rebuilt the 318 before he got it.

I was there tonight, but unfortunately without the Cuda  :(  But I was mostly hanging out next to a friend's red blown Nova and a silver Chevelle at the Hulu Sushi parking.

I don't necessarily care about the vin.

I just like to decode tags and build sheets.

The fender tag is the 2"x4" tag that is on the drivers side engine bay above the rails.

No big deal, just one of my things!

Plans are undecided right now.  Maybe just a weekend cruiser?  Or bump up a little power for the strip?  I was at the Golden Cruise, but without the Cuda   :(  I'll get some more pics later today for everyone.
